The purpose of this Blog is to update family/friends and any interested people on the current condition of Jim L as he learns about, fights, and recovers from the cancer called Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP), a rare appendix cancer. Monday, July 17, 2006. Jim met with Dr Gordon (oncologist) last week. He's scheduled for a CT scan in September and if the results are good then his port can come out and he should be able to stop taking the coumadin. What wonderful news. Friday, June 12, 2009. Our beloved husband, father, and son, Jim Cook, returned home to his Heavenly Father June 11, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jim was born September 14, 1958, in Murray, Utah to Arvin and Darlene Johnson Cook. He graduated from Murray High School in 1976, where he was a cheerleader and member of the swim team.
