A few months later our family moved to Oceanside, California, putting down roots, in the northern most part of San Diego County on the beautiful Pacific Ocean. My early years were spent working as a teenager at our parent’s large restaurant and Hotel where I eventually took over and managed the entire complex for 38 years.
