Well that was short lived. Today was the first time in 7 years that Jim feels like he's dying. Other times, he "knew" he was dying, but didn't feel it. John left for Pittsburgh early Tuesday morning, and I have lost my gumption without him here [although I do get more work done]. The funeral will be Saturday, so I plan to fly out there Friday evening. Although we are glad Pap doesn't have to live with dementia anymore, death is certainly never easy to swallow. Life as WE know it. Friday, July 15, 2011. At the finish line we were handed a French flag and a mini cupcake sprinkled red, white, and blue. The best part: the t-shirt. It's the only real reason to run road races. And this may be the best race shirt I have ever received. Soft, heathered blue, Eiffel Tower. Thanks Mom, Dad, and John for cheering us along at the finish line. :). I think Bastille Day is my new pick holiday. Who wouldnt want to run with a baguette and a beret on their head? June 12, 2016.

It has been a loooong run and I am so ready for this mini-break of one lovely Sunday. I hope it's the longest day of my life. Natural Bridge – 8/16/2008. Laurie couldn’t wait to go hiking again. This time we chose Natural Bridge State Park. And it was a beautiful day for a hike.
