Thursday, August 1, 2013. With Olivia's help (Olivia is one of our translators), I had the opportunity to bring the devotional message to the nannies. I spoke a little about My Heart, Christ's Home. And how God loves us too much to leave garbage in our lives or let us settle for second best. I also spoke about building personal monuments to God's faithfulness that allow us to see His past work in our lives when we are in the midst of chaos. I'm trusting God to do more than I have asked or imagined.

Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Guatemala is a blast. Zip lining is so fun . . . and a great ab workout. My favorite child is Hugo. I reached my goal to get him to talk. A kid named Gerson is like an escape artist and I am always on the lookout for him. The whole team back at the hotel. About to head down to dinner. Thursday, July 28, 2011. Lunch time can be crazy at the center! That is one time that we really appreciate having a lot of people to help. There are quite a few kids that have to be fed by people, so at lunch it is all hands on deck! The kids, as you can imagine are always quite eager to eat so we have a tough time getting them to patiently wait for their food, but once they get it they scarf it down!
