Saturday, March 22, 2008. Ryland's 8th Birthday and TJ's Hockey Championship. Turned 8 years old. He had a tiring morning after a late night at the Thrashers game last night. We went to a local pub for lunch. He is a lot more excited than he looks here. Is getting some birthday love from Mommy. Whole bunch is devouring a bowl of queso. Chips, and tortillas. Sunday, September 28, 2008. The Boys were doing some sports today, so I took advantage and got the camera out. They are waxing their rail for skate board tricks. Ryland is doing some jumps on the bike. Here goes Sam getting some air on the skate board. Good squat position to get maximum air. Up he goes. a little sideways. Gets it straightened out. Good recovery. He is about to stick the landing. And it all goes wrong. No injuries. TJ's turn. Up over the obstacle. And he sticks it clean.

Friday, July 4, 2008. AJC Peachtree 10k race. July 4th brings the Atlanta Journal Constitution 10k road race. 55,000 participants run in this race. Weather was 74 degrees. Kool for this time of year. I got a good spot at the finish and was able to get some good shots. Just few below. This was one of two fire fighters that I saw completing the race. They were lucky that the temperature was as low as it was with all that gear. Must be something that they make the rookies do. Wheelchair 2nd place winner.

Figure those boards are about 9 feet long, making that wave face about 15 - 20 feet! This guy had a tiny little 6 ft. short board out there. Saturday, February 16, 2008. Tonight Sam received an achievement award from his Kumon program. Sam has been working at his reading and retention exercises every day and making good progress. His school grades are reflecting his progress and efforts. We are all very proud of him for all his hard work. This is a picture with his teacher - Farzan(sp). Sunday, January 27, 2008. This week end concluded with one last hockey game for TJ. The rink has a bar that overlooks the ice. Once again Jody is happy. It is Sunday night. We are all tired yet pleased with an eventful week end. We conducted a short interview program on the way home from the rink across town. We shot the program in 8 segments.
