A light dusting of snow on the ground looks so beautiful this time of year. So far, it's been a decently mild winter with a bit of a recent cold snap. Painted on Yupo with fluid acrylics, this painting shows wash day in Le Vieux Couvent in France. Lisa, Leslie, and Paula headed back to the studio to paint as soon as the laundry was hung to dry. Next September we will be painting on Yupo, also known as Lana Vanguard in Europe, for the eleven days we are in Frayssinet. A statue of a Spanish dignitary seems very attentive to these two Catalonian pigeons. This is a TAPE BATIK done on YUPO with Fluid Acrylics.
