Jina Langu ni Justina. Wednesday, April 2, 2008. Chameleons and spitting cobras. For the last few weeks we've been in 'the season of the long rains.' It's not my favorite season: everything is wet and muddy, you can't go outside as much, the power goes out more, sometimes the taps stop working because the power's out, sometimes you think your bathroom tap is off when it's really on and you end up flooding the office below you when the power comes back on. Things have seemed extra busy/crazy around here the last week, I think I am going to wake up in London on Sunday and think "oh wait a minute, I'm not in Tanzania anymore, how did that happen? We went with a Polish couple who had just finished a 7-day safari in Kenya, they were Zebra’d out. Lions are the best. There was a family of them resting in the shade of a safari truck. Jina Langu ni Justina. Sunday, February 21, 2010. Here I am again! For those of you I talked about this with before I left, I am not going to Uganda for a couple weeks anymore. I was going to help out on a tour with a band, The Sowers Group, but it didn't work out with the organizers in Uganda. There will probably be a few concerts around Tanzania that I will help with sometime though. Anyways, I made it all the way from Edmonton to Arusha with no disasters, problems or lost luggage. Yay! Here I am again!
