I understand now. I understand why you do not want to grow up. With all the noise in my head and the sweat on my hands, i am afraid. What if I grow up and forget? What if I forget the steps to our dance? Or the way I used to tied the ribbon around my neck? Or what Ma’s hand felt like on bad days? Oh how her hand felt on bad days.
