This is the End | After Hours With Iggy

After Hours With Iggy. The glass is not half full or half empty. It just needs to be topped off. This is the End. First a word about Georges, and then I will explain why I am going to miss Mia so much. For anything you can say about the man, he was a womanizer, he had a regal temper, he had a Napoleon complex, he was an asshole, he still was a chef. And a damn good one at that. How many days do you think Georges was actually at Saute in Mia? On February 6, 2015 at 10:27 am Comments (2). He is pretty much...

Who Will Come to Save the Day? | After Hours With Iggy

After Hours With Iggy. The glass is not half full or half empty. It just needs to be topped off. Who Will Come to Save the Day? One problem, with such a one dimensional character, Marvel Comics has come up with some interesting ways, to well, keep him interesting. One of those ways is to hire new writers on to help keep him relevant. I mean, hey, a Vietnam vet that does not age, or get slow enough to make a fatal mistake? kat ate that: June 2011
http://katatethat.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Simple wholesome family food. Sunday, June 26, 2011. Smokey Salmon Salad with a light buttermilk dressing. Another very pleasant morning spent at Suffern farmers market. This time my whole family hung out in the weather which held promise. We've had some crazy thunder storms and very damaging flash flooding in Rockland County in the last couple of days. But yesterday morning the sun was trying to come out and indeed did show it's happy face for a while at the market. This, coupled with some new potatoes,...

For My Cousin Lou (oh and Sandy) | After Hours With Iggy

After Hours With Iggy. The glass is not half full or half empty. It just needs to be topped off. For My Cousin Lou (oh and Sandy). I have this cousin, right? Let’s get back to my cousin Lou for now, and not my heritage. Lou came from the same background I did. His life took him up north where his beautiful family lives. He has requested me to write a New England Clam Chowder recipe here for him and his wife. Now this was actually a challenge to me as a chef, for a couple of reasons. Here we go again!

After Hours With Iggy. The glass is not half full or half empty. It just needs to be topped off. Would you like to massage my sausage? What to do with oneself when the weather has turned foul? How anyone likes winter, is beyond my understanding. One of my good friends and his mate, go snowboarding and ice fishing, and genuinely love it! To me, it is just something to do because it is cold, not something to look forward too. I tried snowboarding a decade ago, and hated it. It was too cold for me. 3 Tbl sp...

Sugar & Spice: October 2010
http://thesugarandspiceblog.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Purveyor of all things fabulous. Sunday, October 3, 2010. Hi Friends. What a great weekend! I've been living in Philly for a while now, and I'm a bit ashamed to admit that this is the first time that I've even been to the Midtown Fall Festival! I know, I know. So, I made sure that I went early. First impression - PACKED! So many people, so much food, so little time! After doing a "quick" lap around the festival, I made a few pit stops to try out some snacks and a libation or two. Second stop: El Vez.
