Tuesday, August 5, 2014. So, the spouse and kids are gone to visit family this week, and I'm left to work and try to function normally without them. I used to be fairly adept at functioning solo, but it seems I'm increasingly dependent on my family for my well-being. I spent most of Saturday at the movies and electronics stores. It has been (or at least seemed) to be the most consistently miserably hot/humid summer in my recollection. Thankfully, I work indoors in a nicely air-conditioned office. Field Trip to the Zoo. Jack's preK class went to the zoo yesterday and Brinley and I tagged along. It was so great of the teachers to plan the trip on Jack's 5th birthday! Just a Little of our World. Sunday, May 22, 2011. Bridal Veil Falls, Provo Canyon. We decided to drive up Provo Canyon and check out Bridal Veil Falls. Hiking up to the falls was quite the hike. But totally worth the view! Ken and the kids hiked up past the trail, so coming down was a little tough! Brooklyn and Spencer looked for fossils in the rocks.
