Daddy, Mommy, Big Sis, Big Bro, and baby #3! Thursday, September 25, 2014. I have found my teaching outlet! I volunteered to teach Spanish to M's Kindergarten class for 30 minutes once a week. It is SO FUN! I have found a lot of great resources, like this. From Pinterest and have also scoped out our local library for books in Spanish. So far, the kiddos have:. Practiced simple phrases like "Me llamo" (my name is), "Yo veo." (I see.), "Buenas tardes" (good afternoon), "¿Cómo estás? And "Adios" (good bye).

Friday, April 30, 2010. Mom's day gifts - or birthday, if you're the procrastinating type. Digital camera without a spot on the lens. And automatic red-eye removal (because you KNOW that extra flash doesn't always eliminate the problem). A year's worth of weekly menus and the coordinating grocery lists. Brought to my awareness by my sister. Frequent updates of the best price for toilet paper and diapers that don't involve me doing math. Which I'd like to hang EVERYWHERE. Pretty much any of these necklaces.

I sort of feel bad we had never signed him up before, because he's having a blast, but I guess that's what being a kid is all about - trying everything right? Now we are almost a month down, and I can say that it is not all sunshine and roses, but I can also say that this is a fun chapter in our lives! Along the lines of comfort, I think C's handwriting was neater at school, but I think his reading is taking off (which probably would've happened at school - he is just developmentally "there" right now!
