Living life happily ever after.one day at a time. Friday, September 18, 2009. Over Labor Day weekend we drove down to Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. JJ used his hotel points to book a room that had a kitchen so we took our own food, the hotel had free breakfast. so the whole trip only cost $15 dollars to get into the park, what a bargain! We went on a not too strenuous hike that had a nice waterfall at the end. Bryson enjoying the very comfy fold out bed at the hotel. Cute pictures of the gang!

What I really can't believe is that Ashley is a sophomore! Bryson started 4th grade and Preston is in second. They were all very excited to start this year, they couldn't fall asleep last night and were up at the crack of dawn today. As you can tell by looking at these pictures, they were all take. They all look so grown up!

When There's Love at Home. Saturday, November 13, 2010. I just wanted to post the pics of the girls on Halloween. DD1 wanted to be a pink pirate. I couldn't find a cute costume so I actually made hers! Nothing too fancy :) DD2 was a butterfly fairy, and DD3 was a black cat. They all looked super cute! When we got there we saw that they are doing some remodeling, which will be really great when it is finished, the building was a little out of date. When There's Love at Home. Thursday, March 11, 2010. Spring is always an exciting time, lots of changes outside, and baby lambs at the farm! The lambs actually start coming in February when it is really too cold to go and see them, but we braved the cold wind last weekend and went to see the new lambs. My grandpa is so great, he herds those sheep around like a man of 20! The kids loved seeing and petting the lambs and they didn't want to leave, but the moms got too cold! Saturday, March 6, 2010.

She has been around scissors before so I didn't think she would cut her hair, but isn't that what all 3 year olds do when they find a pair of scissors? When There's Love at Home. Saturday, February 5, 2011. For her birthday DD1 asked to get her ears pierced. We decided that if she was old enough and responsible enough to take care of them (and brave enough to go through with it! She was super brave. She did shed a few tears, but she was so proud of her new earrings! DD1 had her 7th birthday in January. We joked that we were going to skip it this year because we don't want her to keep growing up, but she vetoed that idea! And a memory game with the stuff...

So, in June 2010 we packed up our things and made the 5 day drive across the country. We are so glad to be back on the West Coast, back to the climate we enjoy and closer to our family in Utah.
