Had a call today to say that he'd been found unconscious under a table. He was taken into hospital and has been admitted as he's started having fits. Hopefully I'll find out more when I go up tomorrow. Thursday, 21 April 2011. As I'm following various friends blogs at the moment it has prompted me to do a quick update of mine! Gets used to the dose of meds.

Tuesday, 14 July 2009. Not sure how I feel. Went to see J yesterday and also had an appointment with his consultant. It is sad J seems to be deteriorating. So fast these days. Don't think he actually knew who I was, very little of what he said was distinct so I just chatted away and agreed with what sounds came out. The consultant said that he's going to try him on some Parkinson's. Better about all this. Wednesday, 1 July 2009. Rang this morning. They are still willing to hold J's room for him. ...Still...

Thursday, 21 April 2011. As I'm following various friends blogs at the moment it has prompted me to do a quick update of mine! Looking back over the various posts I realised just how much I needed this outlet in those early days. I know there was friend or two who felt that it wasn't quite fair on John my recording all that was happening. Friday, 21 August 2009. The ever decreasing circles continue! The social worker rang today to tell me that J will not be going back to the home and can I go and clear his room (which I have done). Apparently the most (and probably only) suitable place is http:/ www.johnmunroehospital.co.uk/. But this is very expensive and we'll have to go back to the Continuing Care Panel to secure funding. Thursday, 24 September 2009. Not what I wanted. But on Monday J is going for a trial at Hollins Park to see if they are able to manage him. As they are considerably cheaper than the John Munroe I guess I have to expect the the authority would want to try there first.
