Because of this David and I missed part of what Dry Bones calls Fun Day Friday. The DB staff didn't tell us anything about the day, so we called them up after we were done with DUS to see where they were. We talked about our image of Jesus and then did a cultural event where we visited an African American History Museum. I sat down next to a guy named Lerk. I recognized him from bowling the night before. We got done with the picnic at around 3:30 so Dave and I found some chairs and read for a while until we had to head back to Issachar. Denver Urban Semester. Dry Bones Internship. The City Experience. Sunday, June 5, 2011. After shopping we sat in the patio area between the two Issachar buildings and hung out. Benten helped me fix up my bike a little bit (it needed a new tire tube) and then I immediately wanted to take it for a ride. Dave came with me on his skateboard and we rode to the People’s Fair downtown. We walked around a bit and then rode back to Issachar. AND hopefully see my long lost friend Jenna during that time J.

We were supposed to go camping with the DB interns this afternoon but plans changed when only 3 of the 14 homeless kids showed up for the trip.
