Saturday, December 21, 2013. We had three concerts this year! Sometimes these things can be a bit stressful- getting to where we need (on time! With often very limited parking, wrangling younger/non-participating children during, etc.- but it's always fun watching my kiddos perform. Our first concert was Eva's school performance with the rest of the 1st grade. She was really excited about getting to wear a Hawaiian costume. All of Mrs. Christensen's students. 5 Boys and a Girl. Tuesday, May 19, 2009. A New Do for New York. So in one week Shane and I and Keasa. Are flying to New York. We are so excited we can't stand it! I got my hair cut and colored just for the trip and summer.I absolutely. LOVE it. It is so easy to do and even I can't make it look bad. my hair stylist, Emily is a saint and a magic worker! We are so excited for the trip but mostly to spend time with Kara and Jordan and the Boys. I miss them So much and can't wait for them to meet Keasa.

Monday, June 8, 2009. I can't believe Tanner is old enough to graduate and now attend college. Crazy! I love him to death and love spending time with him! My mom is the greatest! My grandma is also one of a kind. This past weekend I flew to Boise to watch Tanner play in a golf tournament and my grandma was there watching as well. The first thing she said when she saw me was, "Katie, you look like little raggy old Annie! Maybe we could lock her in a closet! Her and Tanner are coming to Chicago to visit me!

5 Boys and a Girl. Saturday, January 24, 2009. It was white with two blue stripes and some graphite rubbed over it for a cool silver look. With about ten cars under his belt, Shane has just about mastered the derby car. He fixes the wheels so they get maximum speed, then shines the axles so there is no friction, then packs both with graphite for maximum speed. Shane is such a great Dad. He makes it fun for each boy and teaches them how its done. We love him TONS. Great job Nate! Saturday, January 17, 2009.

We stopped for ice cream and enjoyed seeing the wonderful architecture and beautiful gardens and grass areas. Driving here proves to be a bit of a challenge and an interesting cultural experience!

5 Boys and a Girl. Saturday, May 16, 2009. Working with Dad can be Hazardous. Is Shane's shadow. The second Shane gets home Paxten. Follows he everywhere. If he could spend every second of every day in the garage with Dad he would. So with that time and in that space a few accidents are bound to occur. This one happened while on a bench and he slipped off and caught the edge of a 2x4 on his cheek. It really wasn't that bad and only one spot was actually. 10 minutes it started to go black.

5 Boys and a Girl. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Coolest House on the Block? Our latest past time is mattress surfing. The kids LOVE it. And it is all the neighbor kids want to do as well. Shane had and has some issues with us running a mattress down his stairs, but the boys assured. Him the smaller mattress does not hit the sides. I guess it's all fun and games till some one breaks.
