Sunday, April 15, 2012. During our last trip to Chamonix two years ago I discovered the Vallée Blanche. A famous 20km off-piste ski run with a vertical descent of over 8,800 feet. Sunday, August 7, 2011. Trip to the States. In June we took a two week trip back to the States stopping in Columbia, Philadelphia, Erie, and Buffalo. We hit up all of our favorite restaurants in Maryland (we got Vietnamese twice in two days! And I shopped until I dropped (literally, from jet lag) with my friend, Liz. Sunday, August 26, 2012. Towards the end of May my office sent me to Turkey, for the 2012 Inverse Problems: Modeling and Simulation Conference. Sounds fun, huh? It was - because Dan came along for the week! We stayed at a really nice all-inclusive resort that sits right on Turkey's #1 rated golf course and the Turkish Riviera.
