April 23, 2015. April 24, 2015. 2D Object Prototype – iPhone Camera Stand. This week we learned how to create flat 2D images in Rhino. That can be inputted into a laser cutter. These 2D images served as puzzle pieces to create a 3D prototype. The assignment was to “build a stand that will firmly support your smartphone for the purpose of shooting a video” with a 1.2mm thick mat board. The stand would be used to video my prototypes (e.g. my paper prototype). The stand should be able to be assembled quickly.
