Tuesday, December 29, 2009. I Almost Forgot. . . Well, we've been a little busy! It's busy for everyone this time of year, but toss in your oldest daughter's birthday, and well, it's a little crazy! I am so grateful for their relationship. McKay can talk her out of her hysterics like I never can. He has patience for her that I simply can't seem to muster. And, although, she never has been much of a cuddler, she will, with her daddy. But only for a second! We really love that girl! Don't want the party!

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. McKay Drew was born in July. He is the new light of our lives, the apple of my eye, and the bright new hope to carry on McKay's awesomeness (in his words). Our girls are thrilled to have a new victim, er.playmate! My two favorite guys, sound asleep! Ps This doesn't happen anymore. McKay still sleeps, but Drew would rather chew on his toes. I really hope he keeps his Baby Blues. Eyes, that is, not to be confused with a slight depression! I have to admit, it's nice to be back!

Monday, May 24, 2010. I've had some requests for the protein Pancake recipe spoken of in the previous post. So here it is:. 1/4 cup egg whites (I used the whites of 2 eggs). 1/4 cup fat free cottage cheese. 1/4 cup old fashioned oats. Agave nectar (whatever that is), or honey. The total nutritional value:. 15 grams of fat. 2 grams of fiber. Plus: My friend Kim already tried the recipe and even added flax seed meal to it to make it even higher in protein/fiber. Saturday, December 18, 2010. 8th Birthday.It's a Big Deal. This is one of my very favorite pictures of our Morgs! She was about 1 and obviously full of curiosity! Hard to believe she just turned 8! Still full of curiosity with a little more "I already know that mom! For her birthday cake she chose a yellow cake with Grandma Johnson's famous "favorite chocolate frosting" and reeses p.b. cups crumbled on top. She even helped make it! I'm not opposed to it! C'mon we'll all be laughing about it in 20 years!
