A few of my weekend favs. All week long, we kept hearing we were going to have some bad weather for Christmas Eve.and since we apparently live in the snow capital of the world, we did get some S N O W. So on Christmas Eve we found a small hill close to our house and took 4 sleds out for some fun. no one was injured and everyone had lots of fun! Santa still found us and brought some super cool stuff!

The kitchen floor damage at my Dad's has promted an impromptu kitchen remodel including some new cabinets and countertops. I don't want to spend a FORTUNE on it but I want it to look nice. This is the Lowe's version (above) of the cabinets I like. And this is the Menard's version. I will update photos of the progress as it goes along! Tuesday, September 7, 2010.

She is perfect and a champion breastfeeder (very "aggressive".ouch! She is doing great and Derek and I are absolutely in love. Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Steve just reminded me that everyone here in KC placed a bet the weekend we found Avery was a girl. I thought I'd post everyone's date and weight since we are getting so close. BUT - we had our first appointment on Monday and saw a healthy little baby that measured exactly on par with where it should and a flickering heartbeat of 150. That's a fantasticly high number!
