Sam, Brittney, James and Ellie. Sunday, September 2, 2012. July 16 was James' 3rd birthday! I can't believe my baby is 3! This is the first year he really knew it was his birthday that he was going to have a party! For his party we had some of his friends over, a bbq, swimming, and a bounce house. Sam, Brittney, James and Ellie. Monday, January 23, 2012. After Ellie was born we had 3 weeks straight of help. My mom and dad came, then Cindy, and lastly Sam's mom. It was truly fantastic! They played all day with James, cleaned, cooked, let me nap, really everything! We are so thankful for them and love them so much! We couldn't have survived the first few weeks without them! Sam, Brittney, James and Ellie. Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Yes, I know that Mother's Day was a long time ago. We bought our first home in the beginning of May and Sam did a few renovations and then we moved into it in the end of May. I LOVE it! But that is for another blog post. However, I have learned from moving into our place that I am not good at keeping a place triple the size of our apt clean and keeping up with 2 kids. I'm just not! We sure miss you guys! Sam, Brittney, James and Ellie. Tuesday, March 8, 2011. V-day this year didn't go exactly as planned. The day before Valentine' s Day, at the grocery store, they had samples of chocolate covered strawberries. I couldn't resist and bought the stuff to make them. The girl giving out the samples commented that they best way to melt the chocolate for dipping was in the crock pot. I decided to give it a try. Don't do it! It totally burns the chocolate! Sam, Brittney, James and Ellie. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Last weekend Sam graduated from Med school! I couldn't be more proud of all his hard work! Most of Sam's family and my parents came into town for graduation. It was great to have so much support from our family! All the Strebel kids, except Andy. Sonic at happy hour. All the babies sleeping during dinner. We soo lucked out with that! Sam on the big screen as he graduated. James and Kalyn. She is a doll and such a good baby! What a cute guy! Orthopaed...

Sam, Brittney, James and Ellie. Thursday, January 13, 2011. Our friend took out our Christmas pictures. She did a great job! Christmas was great and super busy this year! We flew to Houston, drove to Georgia, flew to California, drove to Utah, drove back to CA, and finally flew home all in two weeks! Thankfully, James was good for the majority of all the traveling. It was crazy, but we loved seeing so much family! That is what holidays are for, right? I didn't get a ton of pics but this will have to do.

Sam used to climb around on hay bales in the same spot as a kid. We decided to do a little family photo shoot in an orchard next to Sam's grandma's house.
