Jo-Anne Legree is retired from her work as an administrator in the public sector. She now enjoys expending some of her creative energy in painting in acrylics. She has been painting for about three years and is finding her way as an artist, learning and growing with each piece that flows off her brush. Her favorite subjects are interesting points of interface between man and nature.

Home About the Artist. Welcome to the John LeGrand memorial website. The site contains images of his oil paintings, including a self-portrait he made as a young man. He also made countless pastels and drawings of a variety of subjects. Some of these may be displayed here eventually. We also feature a few Prague paintings. John was enamored of Prague and visited me several times when I lived there with my family during the 1990’s. He always traveled with paint supplies! I hope you enjoy his works!

JoAnne Legree is a growing and emerging Canadian artist. She paints primarily in acrylics. Her work is inspired by the dramatic landscapes of the Okanagan valley and the surrounding regions and by the stark beauty of the US deserts. Travels in Mexico influence her work as well. JoAnne paints from the heart, often choosing interesting points of interface between people and nature and sometimes just choosing quirky subjects that amuse her.
