Over-sized Bingo Card – Thinking of Creating
http://thinkingofcreating.com/2015/04/over-sized-bingo-card
A Creative Blog by Janice Levesque. Last year my husband bought me a bingo cage with bingo balls. I had wanted one of these for years. I love unique and old things. Something that makes a statement. After getting the cage I thought why not make a bingo card to go with it. One 10×10 canvas. 12×12 piece of Oracal vinyl (I always use a color I don’t use for decorating to make a stencil). Silhouette Cameo with Silhouette Studio Designer (This is what I use but you may use whatever machine you own). After cut...

Framed Hearts – Thinking of Creating
http://thinkingofcreating.com/2015/04/framed-hearts
A Creative Blog by Janice Levesque. This is an odd post for this time of year but with wedding season coming soon I thought maybe these could make an appearance on someone’s wedding gift list. These are really easy to make and if you purchase your frames at Michael’s on sale they are inexpensive as well. You will need the following:. 1 9″x 9″ frame with 8″x 8″ opening (I purchased these at Michael’s in a 3 pack at 60% off after Christmas). Assorted prints for the hearts. It should look like this. Your em...

Not Everyone Can Be the Queen – Thinking of Creating
http://thinkingofcreating.com/2015/04/not-everyone-can-be-the-queen
A Creative Blog by Janice Levesque. Not Everyone Can Be the Queen. A coworker saw this saying on Pinterest and wanted me to frame it for her. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the words out of vinyl. I purchase the inexpensive vinyl for stenciling but use the Oracal 651 for things like this. I used a glitter card stock and I needed something with extra grip. I purchased the frame at Michael’s and used a scrap of card stock. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Your email address will not be published.

Super Ruler – Thinking of Creating
http://thinkingofcreating.com/2015/05/super-ruler
A Creative Blog by Janice Levesque. I work in a school and I thought this ruler would get a chuckle from my students. I had old wood that I got for free from a shipping container. It had aged outside and was perfect for my project. My husband cut it to size, 6 feet, and sanded it a little. You will need for this project:. 1-6 foot piece of wood (Mine is 8″ wide). 6 feet of vinyl for stencil. To make my stencil I placed lines every two inches on a 80 inch layout. Weed the vinyl and apply to the wood piece...

Hydrangea Wreath – Thinking of Creating
http://thinkingofcreating.com/2015/07/hydrangea-wreath
A Creative Blog by Janice Levesque. You will need cutters, hot glue, a grapevine wreath (whatever size you prefer), ribbon and plenty of hydrangeas. I added dried roses and yarrow to these wreaths so if you have other dried floral you would like to add feel free. This makes a huge mess so keep that in mind when you pick a work space. Not on a rugged area. When drying these I bundle them up with rubber bands and hang them from the rafters upstairs in my garage. They dry in a few days. At this time you can...
