Other Side of the Pond. Saturday, 17 January 2009. St Paul's and Brit Museum. Architect Sir Christopher Wren's St. Paul Cathedral. Not impressed - a little too formal and cold (plus it's got nothing on St. Patrick's of NYC). Front entrance to St. Paul's. The British Museum's Rosetta Stone. There's just too much going on in this place but I figured this was an important picture. The Roman Emperors Marcus Aurelius and Trajan? I have to make a painting station where ever I live. It's just in my blood...

Other Side of the Pond. Monday, 27 April 2009. The island, or something to that nature; the origins of the city along the Seine. Such beautiful canals. More cheese and rotissirie chicken than I could ever dream of. This could be the next city I live in. I have fallen in love with it! Me and you know who, in the background. Holy tourists! There's a restaurant located on one of the levels of this monster; imagine the price of that bill! Apparently, one has to book a reservation 2 months in advance.

DC to San Fran. Friday, January 9, 2009. Christmas, Part Two. On New Year's Eve we went out for dinner at Boatwerks in Holland, the same place where we had a post-wedding reception last July for friends and family who couldn't make it to the wedding. Just days later we learned they're temporarily closing down until April. Hopefully they'll be able to make it as it's a great restaurant with a wonderful location on the water. DC to San Fran. Monday, September 1, 2008. We hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Although we didn't see any out of place wildlife this weekend, we spent the afternoon and evening at Pacifica State Beach. About a half hour south of our apartment. It's an absolutely beautiful beach that's filled with surfers. We were there from late afternoon to sunset to allow time for Renee to get some schoolwork done.
