Oakwood Cemetery, 1953. This event is the visit by Winston Churchill and Gen. Dwight Eisenhower where Churchill addressed the General Assembly. The address was piped to those of us outside standing in the slight drizzle and near-freezing temps. It is obviously winter, and the year is early 1946. Fresh off V-E Day and V-J Day, to end the War.
