There have been several studies over the last couple of years, which have clearly shown that student evaluation surveys are a very flawed tool. While they do tell us about the subjective opinions of students, they do not tell us much, if anything, about the quality of a professor’s curriculum or teaching. Also, the researcher who frames the questionnaire also biases the results.
