Susan Chien: My Eyes Can't Unsee This
http://susanchien.blogspot.com/2010/10/my-eyes-cant-unsee-this.html
Animator - Illustrator - Pharmacist. Monday, October 18, 2010. My Eyes Can't Unsee This. Rain sent all of us working on the Keanuville project a link to a YouTube video this morning. She wrote: "Okay, Keanuville team, lest you think I might be exaggerating this phenomenon." She is referring, of course, to the stalker-like obsession that millions of women (and men) have for Keanu Reeves, which she writes about in her song. BONUS: this fantasy video is set to an extra schmaltzy Celine Dion soundtrack.

Susan Chien: February 2010
http://susanchien.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Animator - Illustrator - Pharmacist. Sunday, February 14, 2010. For Valentine's Day, I thought that it'd be fun to make a little handmade card for my friends Heather and Trav. The card is about the friendship between a chihuahua, Jonah, and his whale pillow. The dog is actually real, and I read about him on a letter from the MSPCA. That was seeking donations. Heather, Trav and I had a whole discussion about Jonah over breakfast one day. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Sunday, February 7, 2010. I recently g...

Susan Chien: Happy New Year!
http://susanchien.blogspot.com/2012/01/happy-new-year.html
Animator - Illustrator - Pharmacist. Friday, January 6, 2012. Hi there, and a very Happy New Year to you! I have been busy working on a new freelance project that I am very excited to be involved with. I am helping director James Takata and his team with some animated sequences for their film about the California Parent Trigger Law, "We the Parents." The film is currently in fundraising mode; your tax-deductible contribution would be greatly appreciated! More updates to come. February 18, 2012 at 3:47 AM.

Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Here is my portfolio montage. I am going to add a couple of DP clips into it when I finally finish it. Tuesday, March 18, 2008. So my wacom tablet broke over the weekend. I ordered a new Bamboo tablet and it came in today. Drawing on it is a lot more different than I expected. It's gonna take a little getting used to. Hopefully my drawings won't look different now with a new tablet. Sunday, March 16, 2008. As of right now I have the first 55 seconds animated. Now I just nee.

Jimmy Leandro -Animator-: Why won't it just be over
http://jimmysanimationproject.blogspot.com/2008/05/why-wont-it-just-be-over.html
Sunday, May 4, 2008. Why won't it just be over. I am trying to finish up my final sound edit of my degree project. Nothing seems to be working right for anyone right now. My sound is screwy, Susan is having exporting problems from Final Cut, Maya is having problems all over the board with sound and video. Uh, no. the most frustrating part was how we didn't end up using HD in either of the two animation shows! May 13, 2008 at 9:25 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jimmy Leandro -Animator-: Review
http://jimmysanimationproject.blogspot.com/2008/04/review.html
Tuesday, April 29, 2008. I had my review yesterday. It went pretty well. Ruth liked my degree project and gave me some good ideas to improve on it. She also said that she likes that I can do animations that appeal to children without dumbing down my animation. Time to get back to coloring. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Animator - Illustrator - Pharmacist. Monday, November 15, 2010. Yes, the video for "Keanuville" is finished and uploaded to the internets! Here is a write-up. Of the video's premiere at American Songwriter. While my contribution to the project was very minimum, I greatly enjoyed working with Rain and all of the other people involved. It was great fun. Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Backgrounds/Color Palette for Keanuville. Because, after all, it is a fantasy sequence. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I recently g...

Susan Chien: October 2009
http://susanchien.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Animator - Illustrator - Pharmacist. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. A Day In the Life. I don't think that I'll ever do another animation about working as a pharmacist, but it might be kind of amusing to do some quick comics. By the way, this patient interaction really took place last week. This douchebag is one of my least favorite patients. He badgers us 15 times a day, and half of those conversations revolve around his encounters with hookers. Monday, October 19, 2009. Another T ride sketch.
