Joshua M. Hallas Research. Life Finds A Way- Ian Malcolm. I am a PhD student at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) working in the Parchman lab. My research focuses on incorporating phylogenomic and population genomic techniques to understand how environmental variation and natural histories mediate population structure, local adaptation, and genetic differentiation through time. I received my Masters from San Francisco State University in conjunction with the California Academy of Sciences.
