Thursday, December 29, 2005. One of the things we quickly discovered back in September, was that the blinds that were left in the apartment had to go. They were filthy. And cleaning them was a pain in the.well. Therefore, since Sept. we have been blind-less. But since my parents visit in Nov., not a conversation has gone by with them in which they haven't asked "did you get new blinds yet? So, I am happy to say, that with a Target gift card received for Christmas, we purchased.lots of candy bars. Holiday...

Monday, March 27, 2006. JMNYC in the DC. M has been sick for the last week, and we've been laying pretty low trying to get her recovered. We've been doing that.and watching my beard grow (check back soon for a post that expands on this subject). We visited the Capitol rotunda. Statue room, the house gallery, and then ended our trip outside looking out over the mall. Sunday, April 16, 2006. This weekend wasn't too exciting. We stayed in a relaxed a lot. M was nice enough to let me watch all three Twins games over the weekend (they were playing the Yankees so it's the only time I get to see them on TV! Saturday I had baseball games again. It was a beautiful day. 75 and sunny. The games took up most of my day, but M had a nice day tooling around NY. She bought some clothes and did some shopping at the Farmer's Market in Union Square.
