I was nicknames the "Last Cocked Hat" and "Era-of-Good Feelings President". I was a descendant of King Edward the third. I garnered 231 out of 232 votes for my election, a New Hampshire delegate had voted for John Quincy Adams. I joined the third Virginia Regiment during the Revolutionary War in 1776. I married Elizabeth Kortwright on February 15, 1786. I had 3 children.
