the emily: August 2011
http://itsmetheemily.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 5, 2011. Back on June 16th we celebrated Paul's Birthday. Him and I indulged in a feast of sushi, which was a rare occasion for both of us. We also were surprised when our mutual friend Hayley came over with a home made birthday cake. It was delicious. We also had a bbq with some friends. I took terrible pictures, but here are the ones I have. I think he may have been embarrassed that we sang a stirring rendition of Happy Birthday. I love this guy too. Hayley the cake maker.

the emily: July 2011
http://itsmetheemily.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 25, 2011. So now that I am officially caught up on my blog, I get to post stuff like this. I am currently reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I am really enjoying it! The only, only, ONLY cool thing about this was that piano happened to be one of these skills that were developed. Lauren use to read out loud to me every single night. To this day I can't think of anything better to fall asleep to! Monday, July 25, 2011. Sunday, July 24, 2011. In order to graduate as a piano performance...

They had a great time, and may even come back to see us again hopefully! These pictures were taken up Green Canyon. Our friend Walter and Sherpa's friend Jackson joined us too. Friday, June 24, 2011. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. This is a sprinkling of some rock climbing moments. I really don't like this sport.

the emily: March 2012
http://itsmetheemily.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 20, 2012. I recently got this awesome gig where I go to a preschool and teach the kids private piano lessons. The school is located in a gorgeous home with a piano room that has giant windows. After spending my undergrad teaching in windowless practice rooms I have truly learned to appreciate them. the emily: New York Trip
http://itsmetheemily.blogspot.com/2012/05/new-york-trip.html
Sunday, May 27, 2012. It was always in my plans to study abroad during college. But due to the nature of the rigorous piano department it was never a logical option for me. However I have had some pretty incredible traveling experiences through USU. So far I have spent three weeks in Europe, one week in Fort Worth Texas to see the Van Cliburn piano competition, and now I got to visit New York City- all for free! I was certain that I would bump into Liz Lemon. Her pictures kick my pictures bottom. I love ...

the emily: August 2010
http://itsmetheemily.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 16, 2010. I got to take a trip to Paul's home town called Wadsworth, a town just north of Chicago. Paul's house is covered in the greenest ivy you have ever seen. He has a huge back yard that connects to his cousins house. He grew up playing hockey every chance he could on his very own backyard pond. He also built a swimming pool with his dad. It was nice to escape the hot sticky Illinois heat by jumping in the pool. Mmmmm. We got to take the train! Paul waited for the train very patiently.

the emily: September 2010
http://itsmetheemily.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. There is something about this time of year that makes me a sucker for the following things:. 1 caramel apple scented candles. 2 brown, orange, red, and gold wrapped candy. 3 soup in bread bowls. These things plus people I love equals a happy Emily. Look at that candy. Amazing. And the candle holder? Nothin like Fall leaves with twinkle lights on your porch. I love the way it shines into my living room each night. It's a very cool effect to place candles on glass. Mother and ...

the emily: November 2011

Wednesday, November 9, 2011. On the cusp leaving all that is prime. Never to return. I'm turning 23 tomorrow and for the first time in my life I am genuinely upset about getting older. I've been in a funk all day. I never want to not be turning 23. And to top things off, it is incorrect to use two spaces after a period. Wednesday, November 09, 2011. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
