Crawling at 4 1/2 months, pulling herself to standing at 6. Not quite sleeping through the night, but eats like a champ. She's super happy, loves to play with toys and her siblings. There was a family from Utah that we ping ponged back and forth with this day. Saw them at all the stops we made. My sweet 3 crammed in the back on the first day. It was so tight that I cut my arm every time I buckled them in. I need to invest in seat belt extenders. It was so great having a 3rd driver. On the road...

Realize they weren't the center of the universe. A way to do that was to travel. Go places, see things. Explore how big our world is. So Yellowstone got a visit from the Hasleton family. I remember going as a small child. Really only remembered the fancy hotel,. Seeing a buffalo and Old Faithful. We got to play.

We went up to the cemetery today as a family and put flowers on her headstone which was finally set about a week ago. It was overwhelming and completely surreal seeing our little girl's name on that piece of stone. The question that I get a lot is, "has it gotten any easier? Jared, Jennifer, Grant, Nathan, Charlotte and Elliott. Monday, December 14, 2015. Easter is always fun with kids! We have an activity with church at the park. Britton stuck herself in a hole. I braved it and let the kids color eggs this year. It usually drives me crazy with the mess. Easter egg hunt in the backyard. The candy adds up. Grant and Nathan worked hard on their cars this year. Grant made a pencil. Nate made a fire car and won first place in the pack. Fun treats for the activity. Meet 3 - Auburn.
