通称 情技 また jo-ken ジョーケン と呼ばれ、 クリエイティブなものづくり を志し活動しています。 おもな活動内容として全国高等専門学校プログラミングコンテスト 通称 高専プロコン への参加や 学内向けサービスの開発 運営、新入生向けのプログラミング入門講座、部内プレゼンテーションなどと内容は多岐にわたります。 部員は主に長野高専の 電子情報工学科 、 電子制御工学科 、 電子電子工学科 の学生が多く、 ITエンジニアを志す学生たちが互に技術の共有ができるような部活を目指しています。 第26回大会では、自由部門でOculusRiftを使った360度のプラネタリウムを実現する作品 プラネオ 製作し、 競技部門. 情技ではそんな他のプロコンへも参加しようという雰囲気が出ているような出ていないような. 2015年度には情技部員が 中高生国際Rubyプログラミングコンテスト に参加し最優秀賞を受賞しました。 今のところ部員たちのプログラム作品は Processing で作れたものが多く、webブラウザ上で試すことができます 一部を除く。
