Faith of a Spider: February 2013
http://faithofaspider.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Faith of a Spider. A blog devoted to my adventures in Needlepoint and with friends on the same journey. Friday, February 8, 2013. Ode to St Valentine! I love St Valentine's Day. When I was little, my grandmother, affectionately known as Honey, would tell me the story of St Valentine and I would think about it all during February. It does not hurt that it is also the season of conversation hearts. I love them, too! Remember when they used to be easy to read? Then, a couple of years ago I saw a series in t...

Lizart: Pink Bargello, Finished
http://lizartblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/pink-bargello-finished.html
Friday, July 3, 2015. Pink Bargello, Finished. The pink bargello is finished! DH cut the back off of the pin I had so it would sit flat on the canvas and I tacked it on with some Kreinik #4 braid. I just happened to have a pretty little silver frame and it fit perfectly! Threw away the glass, trimmed the canvas to fit (left about 5 blank threads all around) and stuck it in there. DONE! How easy is that? Brenda M. Côté. This is so beautiful. Love the pin and yes, the frame is perfect. How pretty is that!

Lizart: June 2015
http://lizartblog.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 26, 2015. Purrfect Spring, May and June. Purrfect Spring got lots of stitching for May and June. For May I stitched all of the sky - acres of basketweave in wool. For June I did the flowers and grass outside the window. The flowers are little French knots in pearl cotton and the grass is my version of a slanted, encroaching gobelin with just 2 strands of floss in 2 colors of green. What are these cats looking at anyway? Sunday, June 21, 2015. Friday, June 19, 2015. We have a friend who is a ...

Lizart: April 2015
http://lizartblog.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Like many stitchers this week, I just received my brand new The Needlepoint Book. By Jo Ippolito Christensen, the new edition. I know, I swore I wouldn't buy the hardback version, but I caved. I just couldn't stand it. Had to have it! It's kind of like the manual for that new appliance or new car: After you've used the product for a little while, go back and read the manual and find out all the stuff you missed! Kudos, Jo, a fabulous job! Sunday, April 26, 2015. Labels: America...

Lizart: May 2015
http://lizartblog.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 29, 2015. Diamond Delight III - Progress 2. DebBee's Designs "Diamond Delight III". Started last summer or fall. It took me forever to complete all the eyelets, but once that was done it has moved along nicely. Originally I did not plan to change any of the threads/colors, but that hasn't quite worked out! The stitch that was supposed to be in the center didn't work for me. So I changed it, but used the called for thread. I plan to put a jewel or beads of some sort in the center of it. First ...
