My girl Rutendo and I have a knack for having 1 to 2 hours phone conversations on a weekly basis. We discuss just about everything - laughing wildly and probably pissing off everyone within ear shot. This week during one of our calls, Rutendo said: “girl, you need to fight for what you want. If you don’t, no one else will.”. For whatever reasons (given my current circumstances).

I’ve burned my body out in terms of misuse, excess and neglect. Thankfully, fashion helps you hide a lot of the things you don’t feel proud of. I’m not exactly sure what happened a couple of weeks ago but I became incredibly inspired to change my life and my body for the better. And it’s the best damn thing I have ever done for myself.
