So, we have a need here, and if anyone is staying in this area after graduation, I challenge you to start a support group for adults with acquired hearing loss because the need is great! I read an article recently that states that there is a great need for aural rehab, but it is greatly underused. I whole-heartedly agree! However, I think with a few modifications, this handout would be great to send home with patients after demonstrating how to clean their hearing aids. Thursday, November 17, 2005. I had a really interesting client this morning. He was referred for CAP testing. Everything was fine until I couldn't get reflexes on him. I was scared to death that he had a brain tumor! Now, you tell me what that means! My hearing conservation client was interesting because her hearing has fluctuated over the years.
