I Found My Heart In Nicaragua. Sunday, May 30, 2010. So first let me start off by saying I've never blogged before (except for xanga in middle school, but lets not talk about that). And I'm not a very good story teller, I tend to ramble.a lot. And those of you who know me know this to be true. However, I wanted to start blogging for a myriad of reasons. Reason 1: It seems super cool and I love trying new things. Reason 2: I feel like I really should know how to since I'm a journalism major.

I Found My Heart In Nicaragua. Saturday, July 10, 2010. When I come on mission trips I learn so much, but most of all I learn to love. I know this might seem weird or overly simple, like something you never forget how to do, but I think we do forget. We sometimes forget how to love in the purest form, to love like Christ loved: unconditionally. As he started to sing, Mara started to weep. I mean how could this happen to such a young boy? Why wasn’t God watching out for them? What if they had been there?

Sunday, June 20, 2010. Through the eyes of a child. Carla soon got a hold of my camera and began taking as many pictures as she could. She is quite a little photographer, some of her pictures are better than my own!
