http://thetananas.blogspot.com/2013/09/how-to-narrowly-avoid-flash-flood.html
Through the Eyes of Astro. The Miniature Pinscher Way of Life. Wednesday, September 11, 2013. How to Narrowly Avoid a Flash Flood. This past weekend our east coast friends Dan and Case flew in for visit. Mike and I have always wanted to hike down to the Havasupi Falls, so we decided it was the perfect time to do it! Note: we had previously been told that hiking during the night was the way to go to avoid the heat]. Ok monsoon season in the desert? We were told that the helicopter would begin again Monday...

Through the Eyes of Astro: Hello 2014!
http://thetananas.blogspot.com/2014/01/hello-2014.html
Through the Eyes of Astro. The Miniature Pinscher Way of Life. Saturday, January 11, 2014. Where did 2013 go? The last few months of the year just flew by. We decided to stay in Utah this year for Thanksgiving and spent the holiday with my family. My parents drove up from Monument Valley, Emma and her little family flew in from Maryand, and Aaron and Hanna were already in the area. Half the Smith kids - not a bad showing! Someone put lifesavers on the tables and S kept sneaking away and eating them.

Through the Eyes of Astro: House Projects
http://thetananas.blogspot.com/2014/01/house-projects.html
Through the Eyes of Astro. The Miniature Pinscher Way of Life. Wednesday, January 22, 2014. We are putting our old house up on the market in a few weeks. Yikes! In order to get it ready, I need to do some touch up painting and Mikes is finishing up some transitions and moulding we never got around to. But, it is really hard to get motivated to paint the old place when I want to paint the new place! It may even involve a little stencil work from my favorite place - Wallovers. Through the Eyes of Astro. The Miniature Pinscher Way of Life. Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Oh Canada, Oh Canada! This past weekend, S and I made the trek back east to visit my brother and his family in Ottawa, Ontario. Work has been crazy busy lately, so I wasn't able to relax 100%, but it was still a great trip full of quality family time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Through the Eyes of Astro: Californ-i-a
http://thetananas.blogspot.com/2013/10/californ-i-a.html
Through the Eyes of Astro. The Miniature Pinscher Way of Life. Wednesday, October 16, 2013. A couple months ago, we flew to Palm Springs for a memorial in honor of Mikes' grandma. I'm sure I've said it before, but I have always been jealous of people who grew up knowing their grandparents. All of my grandparents passed away when I was really young, so I have really enjoyed getting to know Mikes' grandparents. It's hard to catch a good photo of the family these days. S and her cousin C are a hoot.

Through the Eyes of Astro: Blast from the Past
http://thetananas.blogspot.com/2013/10/blast-from-past.html
Through the Eyes of Astro. The Miniature Pinscher Way of Life. Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Blast from the Past. I think it was our junior year of college. On one of his hikes, Mikes came across a quartzite vein and chipped out a little piece. He went to the jewelry studio at school and proceeded to make me a necklace with the stone. I can't tell you how sentimental the stone is and I'm so happy that I'm able to wear it again. Check out Case's work if you get the chance: www.flameandfile.com.
