Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Double Blessings have arrived. Today Wednesday Aug. 29th, 2012 our baby became a father, and was blessed with two beautiful twin girls. Zoe Lenore DeRoest (A) weighed 4 lbs. 7 oz., 17" tall, made her appearance at 5:30pm. Ginnivive Marie DeRoest (B). Weighed 4 lbs. 9 oz., 17" tall, and made her appearance at 5:32 pm. Both Rodney and Lauren couldn't be any happier to have so many blessings enter into their lives. As you can see all are doing wonderful. Our joy is overflowing.

Sunday, November 10, 2013. I feel like our life isn't really interesting enough to really have enough to update weekly. But I'm going to attempt it anyway. Some highlights of this week:. We went to visit Great Grandma Cress this weekend. We sure enjoyed seeing her. Emmett enjoyed drawing on almost every page of her notebook and matching her animal cards. Wednesday, October 10, 2012. This past month has been a fun one. I got called into nursery, so Emmett has been able to come in early with me. Thank heaven, because he was becoming a HANDFUL during Sunday School! Sitting by a pumpkin. Pointing at another pumpkin. I want this one please! Monday, December 9, 2013. Well, so much for updating weekly haha.it's now been a month. Has started crawling in earnest. That girl sure can move! Started pulling herself up to standing.I'm not ready for her to walk yet! She is growing up way too fast! Started eating baby food again! She had a couple of times where she puked after trying a new food, so I think she associated the purees with being sick. But after trying and trying she'll finally eat them! HATED Santa Claus haha. Likes to pull Emmett's hair.

Sunday, November 18, 2012. Baby girl and I are doing great. I had an appointment on Thursday (the 15th) and her heartbeat was at 124. She has been super active! Most times when I'm laying down she'll start punching and kicking all over. It's so much fun. I think that's my favorite part of pregnancy (although hopefully she won't stretch out for minutes at a time like her brother did! So I can keep my weight gain under control. I've gained 7 or 8 pounds so far, and my doctor is okay with that. It's amazing...

Our Life in Graphs. Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Fall Is Not My Favorite Season. I just got back from a trip to visit my brother and his fam on the East coast. Warm, slightly humid, wonderful. I didn't even have to put lotion on my hands every 5 minutes. But I love Utah, too. I'm just not quite ready for the cold. And the DARK.
