This spring my daughter celebrated her First Holy Communion. It got me thinking about church records. Local churches can contain a lot of valuable genealogical information. Many genealogy resources are being digitized and are only a click away on your home computer, but libraries preserve countless valuable historical documents that are not yet available electronically. My daughter when she turned one year old. Babies especially grow and develop in such a short time. It’s really incredible how much they change. In those few short months and years they are constantly growing, and start to reveal their own personalities. Today my oldest daughter celebrates her 8th birthday.
