Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Welcoming a New Year. I enter the new year with the understanding that I am making a fresh start. I begin by discarding thoughts, attitudes, and habits that are not. Compatible with an excellent life. I let go of whatever caused past discouragement, disappointment or disagreement. I know that seemingly negative outcomes are desires or goals. That are yet to be fulfilled. I am open and receptive to new ideas activities and relationships. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. She cont...

Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Our loving Papa has left us. He took his last steps as he walked into the Mission Respite Center. On Thursday, June 25th. Little did we know that this would become his 'hospice'. He was surrounded by family when he took his last breaths a week later. He has reached his final destination, where he is with his eternal God. Papa was always known for his 'wave' of enthusiasm. March 2, 1912 July 3, 2015. We all drove the long road to Valley View Cemetery in Agassiz. We know that Papa...

Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Summer Adventures Camping Competitions! We have been camping at Manning Park for many years. The kids basically grew up in this park like setting. You'd think that all the kids would have known how to put up a tent,. Catch a fish, fan out tarps, and cook over a campfire. But somehow the sibling competitive rivalry continues. Camping should be second nature for them! Who's helping Jeremy put up his tent? It seems to take a whole crew. While he contemplates a question. Bread dou...

Home Again: Yesterday & Today
http://www.margs-home-again.com/2015/08/yesterday-today.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. It was on this homestead that the Bartel family settled in 1951. Little did I know that I would share ownership in this farm. In September 1973, I married John and soon there after I became a partner in the family business. I had always heard of all the parties that the Bartel families had entertained prior to my time. Here is a typical after wedding party that happened at the Bartel farm in the early 60's. And the farm house in the back ground. Where did all the Flowers go?

Tuesday, November 25, 2014. It was another beautiful fall day in the valley. Silas had shared with me the 'family secret.'. They were all excited about revealing a secret they had with their Dad. The two little boys were schemingly involved in a rubik cube puzzle. The final clue said, "Will you marry my Dad? Jeremy and Tara announced their engagement with plans of a wedding scheduled for May. Last summer Tara was introduced to our family. And Oma Helen read.from Oswald Chambers, "Still Human". And this w...

Sunday, March 15, 2009. YSA at Classic Fun Center. Another fun filled activity with our YSA group. This time we went roller blading/rollerskating or skooter riding at Classic Fun Center. Some of these YSA's are pretty good on blades, as for me, I still wobble on roller skates. LOL! But, it's fun to hang out with these YSA's and get to know them and be young with them! Posted by S and L. How fun is that? We need to plan a family night there! March 23, 2009 at 9:34 PM. March 24, 2009 at 2:49 PM.

Lindsay, Zach and Griffin came over and had dinner with us, then we got out all the carving stuff and went to town. Scott wanted to see how the insides of his home grown pumpkins tasted! Posted by S and L. Sunday, October 26, 2008. Our Little Lindsay is half way there! Doesn't she just look so adorable! Posted by S and L.
