The nurse, Donna, got some liquid pain medication ordered cuz Mama was crying in pain but I couldn't get anything to go down. Not even Riah's liquid ibuprofen. She just gags and chokes on everything. Mama asked me to read a poem that I wrote a long time ago, at her funeral as her last message to us. For those that could not make it I am posting it here. By Edie Cropper Young.
