Joanne and Ivan's home. The ups and down's of building a home. Mainly the ups! Thursday, 15 September 2016. They said it couldnt be done, concrete countertops, it can! When people say it won't work , don't listen. So if you see it on Youtube it has to be possible. That's Ivan's moto anyways! Along with the new idea he needs to spend 10 mins each day grounding. In other words walking in the garden with no shoes? And everyone thinks i am the weird one. We really love Masters! I think it's the lighting there.

Our Side of Paradise. Friday, January 16, 2015. After Christmas, the nice weather lingered for a bit and permitted us the opportunity to go exploring. There's a state park not too far away, and within the state park is an old iron plantation that has pretty much been restored and is now a National Historic Site. The night of one of the bigger storms (14 inches snowfall), Clark and I played a competitive game of chess. Clark won. Janet and I thought it would be safest to lay down a pink table cloth under the table to prevent any huge messes. Very smart idea, indeed. The mini butler holding his own private tea party. No boys were invited to the tea party. To keep it simple, Violet and Lucia were each allowed to invite one friend. Janet and I also got all dressed up for the occasion, princess crowns and all. Our Side of Paradise. Thursday, June 26, 2014. Last Tuesday, on the hottest day of the year to date, we had a date day. I now have Tuesdays off because I'm supposed to work either long days or Saturdays. But that's not important. And I'll probably get to that in a later post. The important thing is: we got out and did something! I guess Philadelphia isn't so bad, after all. It was pretty impressive. I highly recommend it if anyone ever visits Philadelphia.
