Monday, September 29, 2008. 4 Pairs of Socks and a Sweater. Well, I haven’t quit knitting socks… . though I haven’t posted in a while. I took a 2-week break from socks during August to knit Marnie MacLean’s Lily sweater. Which I purchased from Twist Collective, and it turned out great! During September, I’ve finished four pairs of socks –. Below, right knit from Tausendschon sock yarn in Sommerlavendel and my own design on 2.25 mm needles). And I have Pair #22. Links to this post. Includes four felted pr...

http://blackbugballyhoo.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Musings of the Needle Beetle. Sunday, December 28, 2008. Santas let loose in Burlington. I promised to show pics of my favourite petal/flower dishcloths before wrapping them up for friends for Christmas. However, I was in such a rush that completely forgot to take the pics. Duh! So, to make up for my oversight, I will provide links to those faves instead, I love making them and hope you try them out too:. Http:/ www.groupepp.com/dishbout/kpatterns/petal.html. Musings of the Needle Beetle. Thursday, September 25, 2008. Run and Knit, Knit and Run. Besides knitting, I've also been running. Here's pics of my bib numbers from the Beamsville Bench (August 9th) and the Laurier Loop (September 21st), weird how they're both numbered 301. I ran 5k in both, Beamsville I clocked 27 min 55 secs and in the Laurier Loop, 27 min 21 secs. I'm getting better. For my efforts this past weekend I won 1st place female in the Overall Masters category. I'm stoked! It's all about me.

Ottawa Valley Fiber Arts: Beautiful rugs
http://ottawavalleyfiberarts.blogspot.com/2013/05/beautiful-rugs.html
Make yourself a cup of tea and come join me in my fiber adventures. Thursday, May 2, 2013. I "met up" with an amazing fiber artist on-line who was destashing some of her fiber. I've now added to my stash from her twice, with some gorgeous Lincoln, Targhee and Karakul. I found out that she uses it for hooked rugs, and was I ever in for some eye candy when I found her Etsy shop. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Cloverleaf Art and Fibre. Ottawa Valley Fiber Arts: OVFA is sponsoring a Sister!
http://ottawavalleyfiberarts.blogspot.com/2013/06/ovfa-is-sponsoring-sister.html
Make yourself a cup of tea and come join me in my fiber adventures. Saturday, June 22, 2013. OVFA is sponsoring a Sister! On nights when my husband travels, both of my young kids pile into bed with me and we have a little ritual. When the lights are out, I ask them "Think of one thing you are grateful for." I am trying to show them how important it is to reflect on our lives and give thanks for all that we have. Making time in my daily life to give thanks has made me a happier, and better person.

A little journal of the things I do between errands and work. Monday, September 21, 2009. Things have been even crazier than usual for us this fall, so I haven't had as much time as I like to spend in my workshop (can you ever have as much time as you'd like in your workshop? Okay, so that was a rhetorical question. But because it's soccer season, I have managed a few minutes here and there to do some knitting. I'm going to explore that some more. Posted by Tracy Hopkins. tmhcreations: a little catching up to do

A little journal of the things I do between errands and work. Monday, August 31, 2009. A little catching up to do. I am so in arrears about posting here, and I blame facebook. I have spent a little too much time tending to my farmville farm (a facebook app) that I haven't paid attention to any of the other parts of my virtual life.and then when I go to my favorite blogs, I see they are not updated, either.could all my virtual friends be tending their virtual farms? Dan is playing goal keeper for the socc...

tmhcreations: Let's go to the FAIR!
http://tmhcreations.blogspot.com/2009/08/lets-go-to-fair.html
A little journal of the things I do between errands and work. Friday, August 7, 2009. Let's go to the FAIR! Tom and I snuck out the other night and went to the Boone County Fair. I had been once before when the kids were little, during the day. We saw a baby beauty pageant which kind of frightened me, and some really pretty needle work, stuff like that. Boy, at night, though, it really gets cooking (both literally and figuratively! And who can pass up the Holy Donuts? Oh, the humanity! I did NOT eat any ...

tmhcreations: Oh, Crud!
http://tmhcreations.blogspot.com/2009/07/oh-crud.html
A little journal of the things I do between errands and work. Monday, July 20, 2009. I really was planning to keep up with this blog business.not so much because I think anyone cares, but because when I check on myself, I want to know what I've been doing. Apparently, I've either been to busy to post or too depressed to care. Dan spent alot of time holding bee parts. Lily and Joey are the "Little Bees" and Dan was part of their crew.
