Saturday, March 30, 2013. Happy 9th Birthday, Derrick! 10lbs 4oz 24 inches. Derrick LOVES anything to do with the solar system. So I made him a sun cake surrounded by 8 cupcakes decorated like each planet :). Derrick is starting to really love to read. He's excellent at math in school and has too much energy at home! Sunday, February 17, 2013. Finding "Extra" Money - Endorse. Another way I earn money to deposit into our House Fund is using the Endorse. Application on my smartphone. Each week (usually mid-week) I get a message on my phone asking what's on my shopping list for the week. Many are generic items, like crackers, fast food, diapers or pet food, but sometimes it's specific things like Mountain Dew or Zatarain's. All you do is take a picture with your Smartphone of your receipt and Endorse.

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Tonight, I took the boys with me to go get a few Poorboy Sandwiches and Subway Sandwiches for dinner. I had a chat with Dirk after Christmas that he had to start having some kinds of vegetables on his sandwiches or I was never going to buy him Subway again. We compromised on Spinach. After trying it, he said he really liked it because he couldn't taste it. :D Works for me! So we are on our way home from Subway and Victor is holding the bag. V - Mom, I don't want leaves, ok?
