More Gluten Free Takeaway: glutenfreeperth
http://glutenfreeperth.livejournal.com/5744.html
More Gluten Free Takeaway. Mt Lawley (and all round Australia). Grill'd have awesome burgers, salads and chips, pretty much everything is gluten free except the regular buns and panini (but they have a gluten free bun) and the sweet chilli sauce. Check their FAQ's on the website for full info. It's all pretty healthy too. Jus Burgers do a gluten free bun (not as good as Grill'd though), and their burgers are pretty delicious. Unfortunately my favourite is the pumpkin burger which isn't GF. :(. We will lo...

The Imp - Vic Park: glutenfreeperth
http://glutenfreeperth.livejournal.com/6260.html
The Imp - Vic Park. Hi everyone, I'm new to all of this forum stuff. I've been to The Imp quite a few times over the last few months and the food is just amazing! About 2/3 of their tapas menu is GF or can be adapted to be GF and it is. They also have a several hand made GF desserts and I can highly recommend the chocolate fudge muffin warmed up with a little icecream - you wont be dissapointed! The menu does change so the web may not be 100% up to date www.theimp.com.au. Post a new comment.

So Livejournal finally has an iPhone app. I've really been neglecting LJ for a while, partially cause I'm too lazy to actually find specific time to sit down and write something, and also because Facebook seems to have vaguely replaced my postings; especially with the FB iPhone app. But hopefully this will make for more semi-regular postings. In theory. *shrugs* This weekends Pride festivites were pretty damn enjoyable, although sadly ended badly for some, as I was just reading on. Mum and Dad are arivin...

Dealing with chefs and wait staff: glutenfreeperth
http://glutenfreeperth.livejournal.com/5922.html
Dealing with chefs and wait staff. Generally most places I've been have been pretty good when I request something gluten free if there's nothing on the menu. I tend to go to small owner-run local places, and Vic Park has been exploding in the number of small breakfast/lunch/tapas places that are now open. I'll do a separate entry on that later. But when I read this article yesterday, I was disappointed with the chef's attitude towards gluten free requests (in the last section). Banana, honey and walnut.
