Adventures in the 'Burgh. Saturday, August 31, 2013. While my folks and brother were in town, Dayven and I jetted off to Colorado Springs for the weekend for the wedding of our friends, Heidi and Tim. Tim is a childhood friend of Dayven's - technically they were friends before. Were very happy to see us. Our big guy is officially 7 years old! Raise the Jolly Roger! It's a book they love to read and then they get to present it to the library on BTV, the school news station. Hadley, Tate and I went to watch him. Adventures in the 'Burgh. Monday, May 05, 2014. It was a really well organized event, with shuttle buses, relay check points and after party events. Downtown was buzzing! It was an incredible day with beautiful scenic views and amazing camaraderie among runners. It was such a fun event to be a part of and I can't wait to do it again next year. Maybe I'll even run the half marathon this time! 5:30am on the train downtown! Special shirts to honor our special guys. Tired, sweaty and DONE!
