He was only 64 years old when his life was taken away from the deadly but curable disease - dengue fever, his life would have been saved if the doctor who treated him at the time went extra steps to do the blood test on him. Jocelyn’s Journey is an annual fundraising event aimed at funding research to find a cure for Rett Syndrome, a debilitating neurological disorder. Jocelyn’s Journey funds are donated to the Rett Syndrome Research Trust a 501(c)(3) charity who has funded recent break throughs in gene therapy which has reversed the effects of the disorder.
