A lot has happened, and I'll try to summarize some of the key things, if I can remember it all. 9679; I've been travelling. My family also came to visit me and we went on a two week trek around Europe, hitting Amsterdam, Paris, Munich, Lucerne, Florence, Pisa and Rome. 9679; I broke my arm. I had surgery back in Germany and was in hospital for about a week. It was not a fun time! 9679; Looking back to when I first arrived.

Sunday, December 19, 2010. Bowling with the Sophia Communication club. Bowling in Japan seems to be a similar fanfare compared with back home, so opposed to being a wacky experience it was just a lot of fun. Ok, I lied. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Unfortunately this post will be rather short as I can't upload any of the pictures I took at Stanley Park, but I took a lot of photos and will write a proper post later. Today was my first day alone but the transportation system here is pretty darn easy so getting around wasn't a problem. While I thought I would see heaps of squirrels in the park I only saw three, but couldn't get any decent shots of them because they're so damn fast and will run away if it knows you are there.

Saturday, November 12, 2011. If you didn't know, I am quite fond of everything to do with the railway networks in Japan, and one thing which I miss are these ad campaigns that the Tokyo subway companies have been running since (it seems) forever, on train manners - that is, expected behaviour of the passengers. This year's posters themes revolve around super-kawaii animals to illustrate things one should and shouldn't do on the trains. Check it out here on Pink Tentacle. Labels: Only in Japan.

Today has been a rather lazy day - the first day of getting enough sleep, and waking up to finally clean my room and to empty out my rubbish bin which has been piling up for two weeks.
