Thursday, January 7, 2010. Our home teachers brought us a basket full of goodies for Christmas and Chase thought the basket filler was pretty cool stuff. At first I was a little bit worried about the mess it would make but when I saw how much fun he was having I turned it into a Kodak Moment! I stripped him naked, put my socks on him, and attempted to put our crazy Santa hat on as well. Here are the results of that moment. He sure looks like a cute Santa helper! My sugar cookies I made from a Betty Crock...

So I am sure you all know how it is with your first child, you just can't help but click away with the camera. Here are just a few of the thousands of pictures I have taken lately. Some days I forget that he is a baby and not my dress up toy/personal model! Could that grin get any bigger? This is his gangsta' look. Monkey see Monkey do? That's what Aunt Meggie claims he learned at the zoo. Chase also found...

Ms. Dana Elizabeth: December 2009

Saturday, December 5, 2009. I am in the middle of a commision painting for a family member, sneak peak to come, but in the meantime: plastic bottle art! It started with the plastic waters bottles that he bought right before coming to Chile so the change in water and bacterias wouldn't upset a sensetive stomach. Then a plastic bottle or two started showing up at the dinner table filled with nectarine juice. The epidemic continued from there with a coca-cola. They can be saved! From that moment The Plastic.

This is an UNO card cake made out of UNO cards.(not edible) Jess made it and it added so much to the decor! Getting ready for cake!
