The better end of life. Friday, July 8, 2011. I am finally getting around to posting some pictures. We have had a busy couple of months with moving and getting settled in our new home. We love it here in Orting, WA. We love being close to family again. Now if we could just make some new friends. Joys of moving a lot! We celebrated the 4th with family. It was so much fun running a round with cousins. We tried to get a new family photo and here is what we cam up with. and a few extra's! Jodi and Jake Meyer.

The better end of life. Sunday, April 10, 2011. Lila is almost 3 months old and getting cuter everyday. Reagan is loving it more now that Lila smiles at her and is much more aware. She is a great big sister and a big helper. Shay will be done with Altus the first part of May. (FINALLY! We move May 18th to Seattle and will be there May 23rd. The better end of life. Friday, January 21, 2011. We are thrilled to announce our new addition to our family! Lila Eve Mortensen was born January 14th at 12:51 pm. She was 5 days early which I was not disappointed about at all! So the story goes. I woke up about 5:30 am to use the bathroom and of course I laid there in bed unable to fall asleep again. The better end of life. Monday, April 19, 2010. We took Reagan roller skating at the indoor rink this past weekend. She had so much fun! We were impressed with how quickly she picked up on it. The better end of life. Thursday, May 20, 2010. Last Friday Shaler had his track select which determines his next trainer for phase two. He got the T-1 which is the track for flying most heavy aircraft. He is going to miss flying the T-6 but is excited about the new opportunity with the T-1. Here are a couple photos from that night. The better end of life. Monday, December 27, 2010. We had a wonderful little Christmas with just us this year. It is fun to have little kids that understand what Christmas is about and Santa. Reagan makes Christmas exciting! We were able to talk to family on Skype in the morning and then went over to our friends home for dinner. It was a very enjoyable day!
